Q: What Thinner is to be used in Perma Cote?
A: Different paints require different thinners:

  1. For brush  application - use B-H # 8783 Thinner
  2. For spray application – use B-H # 8782 Thinner

A:
Mix 1 quart of good household bleach with 1 gallon of clean water.
Scrub affected area thoroughly and when dry, apply paint.

Q: What paint must I use on concrete floors?
A:
B-H Alkacid floor paint or B-.H. Epoxy Enamel

Q: How can I make my slab roof cooler?
A:
Apply two coats of B-H. White Perma Roof Coating.

Q: What is the best paint to resist corrosions
A:
B-H Epoxy Enamel , B-H. Anchormarine Enamel

Q: What Primer must I use for Epoxy Top Coat?
A:
You have two (2) options:
a)   B-H Zinc Chromate Epoxy Primer # 9619
b)   B-H Universal Primer # 9019

Q: Can I use Emulsion Paint on the outside of my house?
A:
Yes. Use B-H Perma-Plastic Emulsion Paint

Q: Must I use a cheap primer on my wall before painting?
A:
No, use a premium quality Primer, e.g. B-H # 4450 or use B-H Perma-Plastic premium quality Paint. Cheap Primers will break down and cause top coats to peel off.

Q: Do I have to clean off my walls before painting?
A:

    Yes, walls to be painted should be free from grease, dust and oil etc. For previously painted surfaces, remove loose and flaking materials before painting.

    Q: Paint is peeling off my walls what should I do?
    A:
    Remove all loose and flaking materials – Rub down with fine sand paper and spot prime with B-H # 4450 or with B-H Perma-Plastic Emulsion.

    Q: Can I paint my room today and sleep in it the same night.
    A:
    Yes you can, by using B-H Perma-Plastic Emulsion or B-H Perma-Cote Oil Paint for wood.

    Q: Can I use a paint brush to paint on quick drying enamel?
    A:
    Quick Drying Enamel should be sprayed on, however for small surfaces such as grill work, you can apply with a brush IF you work fast.

    Q: How do I use Epoxy paint?
    A:
